Jargon is abbreviations, expressions, and specific words used by a group or profession, which are difficult for others outside the group or profession to understand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These phrases describe same concept more clearly, without using jargon:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Beginning to end;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creation to disposal;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Every step of the food chain;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Every step of the supply chain;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Start to finish;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Throughout the lifecycle;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Well to wall; and.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Well to wheels.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The preferred phrase is <em>throughout the life cycle<\/em> because it communicates the concept of <em>lifecycle<\/em> clearly and effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A <em>lifecycle<\/em> is a series of stages through which an item will pass during its usable existence. For example, a lifecycle spans from the time an item is designed, constructed, and installed, extends throughout its service life, and ends when the item is no longer a useful or working asset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For project success, use clear and effective communication, not jargon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About the Author<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/roy-ktp\">Roy O.
